A THOUSAND WORDS PHOTO

This Photograph has a great and Lasting Importance so far Under the Historical Prism. As the Photograph floated on Social media some Twenty Four Hours before. Raising a number of narratives in my consciousness and simultaneously it strikes me some nostalgic memories of my childhood education till  5th Standard in my Countryside School that has been Upgraded recently up to 10th Standard, and it was in the Past as Islamia Model School Malpora and now it is Islamia Model High School Malpora. And another layer of my memories dragged me to my Past religious activities, Whenever the brothers from Tabligi Jamaat used to visit my village mosque, my father would speak  my name,( whether I was present or absent in the gathering),   when it is the Climax of the Oration, they would ask the listeners, sitting in the mosque for writing their respective names,  who are willing to go with  Tabligi Jamaat for Some three days, Ten days, Forty days or for Four months. For me, it was like the Pilgrimage. I met both of them in the year  2017 at their respective homes.

Without beating about bush let me celebrate this Photo with some kind words about their Lifeworks for the Reformation of my Narvaw. It was in some way their contribution to their chosen religious lines and in another way for the Promotion of Modern Education in Narvaw. Both of them are Senior Citizens and had seen their grandchildren in their lives. They invested their quality time in the education department. But Mr. Ali Mohammad Lone ( right With the Walking Stick in his left hand) resigned from the Teaching Profession halfway and chose to work for Islam as advocated in the writings of Maulana Maududi thus became a full-time member of Jamaat-e- Islami Jammu and Kashmir. He served as the first  Patron of Jamaat Islami Narvaw and Contributed in Promotion of modern education by establishing a number of private institutions under the supervision of the Fala-e-Aam Trust in Narvaw region ( west Baramulla). According to a recent Survey, the schools which were founded by him as Primary and up to the middle, are now Upgraded till 10th Standard. There are three High Schools, Two middle schools and Two Primary Schools run under the Tag of Fala-e-Aam Trust. And most of the Alumni of these Institutes are on respective Chairs, like in  Civil Services, Physicians,  Engineering, Teaching, Lecturer, reader, and researchers. 

The other person in this Photo sitting cross-legged with both the hands on the right knee is Mr Ghulam Nabi Wani, retired from education department as Headmaster, he opted for a no political missionary movement, Tabligi Jamaat - it focuses on urging Muslims to return to practice, Islam. Tabligi Jamaat is founded by Muhammad Ilyas Khandlawi in 1927. The Tabligi Jamaat is an offshoot of the Deobandi movement. His major contribution to the Literature world is the renown magazine           " Mahnama Rah e Najaat", and he also writes about Islam and moral education. His son Mr Saliq Bilal is a Co-founder of a reputed Literary Journal, " Bazm Adab Narvaw" it promotes the Urdu Language, Literature and religion. Ali Mohammad Lone and Gulam Nabi Wani will be remembered in the Chronicles of History for their contributions in religious education. Both of them are religious scholars and will be alive in the hearts of every Narvawian.
